Patio Décor for the Not So Timid

When it comes to patio design you’re going to see a lot inspiration out there. You’ll see everything from Beachy Paradise to Rambling Rustic. But what if that’s not your style? What if you want a patio with graphic prints in bold and bright colors?

This season, blazing colors are hot, hot, hot.  Accents pieces in vivid prints are waking up peaceful patios. While this look isn’t for everyone, incorporating one or two of these fun furniture pieces can add an unexpected and youthful surprise to your patio décor.

Indoors and in tight spaces, brightly painted walls can sometimes be overwhelming, so, it’s no surprise that some people shy away from using bold colors. However, with no walls to worry about outdoors, you’ll find it much easier to incorporate these lively elements into your patio design.

Because color theory can get somewhat confusing, the easiest thing to remember when working with bold colors is that they should be divided into rich jewel tones (ruby, emerald and sapphire) and primary colors (true red, yellow or blue) So, choose whichever group appeals to you most and stick with it.
