Robins' Nest, a nonprofit whose goal is to ensure the safety of children and enhance their well-being in a family setting, recently raised $55,000 at its annual golf outing, Tee Off for Hope. EP Henry, a manufacturer of Hardscaping™ products located near Robins' Nest headquarters, served as one of two of the event's Presenting Sponsors.
To date, the Robins' Nest Tee Off for Hope golf outing has generated more than $850,000 over the past 24 years. All proceeds from the event - which this year was held for nearly 100 golfers on June 11 at Laurel Creek Country Club - support quality prevention, intervention and counseling services for abused and neglected children in Southern New Jersey.
Located in Southern New Jersey for nearly 110 years, EP Henry has been involved with Robins' Nest for nearly 25 years. EP Henry President and CEO, J.C. Henry, serves as a Tee Off for Hope Co-Chair and has been involved with Robins' Nest ever since his mother, Mary Shafer Henry, served as a volunteer and sponsor of the organization in its early years.
"Through J.C. Henry's deep-rooted connection with Robins' Nest, EP Henry has been a long and proud supporter of this great event," said Lenny Valentino, Jr., Senior Vice President at EP Henry. "We look forward to helping grow both the event and the funds that are raised for this extraordinary organization."
"The support we receive from members of the Greater Philadelphia community in planning and raising funds for this event - our Honorary Chairman Derian Hatcher and Co-Chairs J.C. Henry and Michael DiPaolo - has been amazing," said Anthony DiFabio, CEO at Robins' Nest. "We look forward to continuing these relationships for our Silver Anniversary golf outing next year."
Robins' Nest will celebrate its 25th Annual Tee Off for Hope golf outing on June 10, 2013.
