Ground Breaks on Latest EP Henry® HeroScaping® Project

The Bucks County Global War on Terrorism Memorial

Expected to be Completed in May

Woodbury NJ-March 25, 2014- Yesterday, officials broke ground on The Bucks County Global War on Terror Memorial, the latest EP Henry HeroScaping project, located at the Bucks County Courthouse.

Sponsored by Doylestown Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 175, the memorial will honor the lives of the Armed Forces lost in the war on terrorism. EP Henry is donating all of the Hardscaping™ products through its HeroScaping program, the company's Active Military and Veterans Donation Program.

"We're honored to be part of this project memorializing local heroes that have been lost in the line of service," said EP Henry CEO, J.C. Henry. "As a family company with three former owners having served, this is a cause that is close to our hearts."

Expected to be completed in May, the memorial is designed to resemble a globe. The interior of the globe will tell the stories of those memorialized, while the exterior will depict the war itself. The memorial will honor 21 Bucks County natives of the Armed Forces who lost their lives in the line of duty:

  • 15 United States Army Soldiers
  • Four United States Marines
  • One who served in both the Marines and Army
  • One who served in both the Marines and Navy

Formalized into a program in 2012, EP Henry's HeroScaping program has contributed over $325,000 in materials, labor and monetary contributions to military-related projects and organizations.

A significant part of HeroScaping since its inception is the donation of products to repair and improve the outdoor living spaces of military families and community locations in need of rebuilding or constructing, including veterans' monuments, memorials, municipal buildings and school park areas.
