It’s been weeks in the making, but on Thursday, a wounded Blair County veteran finally got to see a special gift that was made possible by local students.

“Thank you guys very much,” Cory Mills said. “I appreciate everything you’ve done.”

Mills said he’s grateful not just for his beautiful brand new $30,000 patio, but the people who made it possible. “Knowing the young generation still cares about taking care of vets makes it amazing,” Mills said.

This is about the 30th Heroscaping project donated to a veteran in the mid-Atlantic area by the building material company EP Henry.
